In 2008, Mizuno proudly introduced their first bat in their new Jennie Finch fastpitch softball equipment line. This is the first aluminum fastball bat made by Mizuno in 10 years and is a high performance bat. Due to the popularity of the Finch Signature Series, in 2009 Mizuno and Ms Finch agreed to a two year contract extension.

If you are looking at youth softball bat reviews, you are probably getting ready to do some shopping for your child, or another child that you know. One of the things that I always like to remind everyone is that bats do not make someone a good hitter, but rather sound fundamentals, and good swinging mechanics are the keys to success. A high quality bat however never hurts their chances.
Always make sure that you are aware of the rules of the league that the child will be playing in concerning bat length and weight.
Another item of consideration is the fact that some leagues allow composite bats, as well as non-composite bats. You will want to be aware of what the rules are of your local league, about which bats are and aren’t allowed. Make sure you’re aware of what everyone else will be using before you go shopping.
Like Easton, DeMarini makes bats flex at the handles. But unlike many other manufacturers, they produce a bat with double wall technology and composite material. This bat is known as the CF-3, and is designed to create a springboard and maximum trampoline effect when contact is made with the ball. The CF3 youth bats are right around $250.
