The Recoil Series is a series of slowpitch softball bats from Miken Sports.
The series is comprised of four bats: the Recoil DFR 180 ASA, Recoil DFR 180 USSSA, Recoil DFR 250 ASA, and Recoil DFR 250 USSSA.
All four bats have a 100% composite construction and feature Miken's Ballistic Crosslinked system for more elongation which improves barrel rebound and the resilience of the bat at impact.
They also have a Dynamic Flex Ratio for stability and power, with the Recoil DFR 250 ASA and USSSA models offering a higher dynamic flex ratio than the Recoil DFR 180 ASA and USSSA models.

Slow Pitch Softball Swing - What am I doing wrong?
I've played baseball all my life. I started playing softball about 4 years ago. I usually hit very well every year, mostly gap shots and Home runs. I'd mostly hit for power and usually drive the ball more often then not.
This year I don't know what I am doing wrong. I'm getting base hits, but I am not really hitting with authority like I usually do.
A few things to know:
- I just bought a new bat, still breaking it in(Miken ASA Recoil Maxload)
- All my hits seem to be dead center
- Have yet to pull the ball really
- I have a closed stance
- Quick bat speed
- I like the ball low and those seem to be the one's I drive the best
It almost seems like I am waiting too long to start my swing possibly? Should I move up on the plate or be further back? I am thinking about going with an open stance and see if I can start pulling the ball more.
opening your stance will help alot. since you like the lower ones so much maybe you should try scooting back a bit. let the ball get further into the zone. and for pulling the ball i have found it a little easier by takin your foot thats closest to the pitcher and movin it in towards the plate a little bit

Which slow pitch bat is better???
I'm torn between two bats. The Easton Synergry CNT Flex from 2008 and the miken recoil Maxload. I'm in an ASA league and I've hit with the easton and loved it, but I've heard so many good things about the Recoil. I've found them both on Ebay for the same price so now it just comes down to which is the better bat.
All of my bats are easton
that being said i dont own a single wooden bat lol
