If you are into fastpitch softball then we have to make this thing clear: Fastpitch softball is not baseball. However, fastpitch softball equipment is pretty much the same as baseball equipment. Fastpitch softball as you may have heard is packed action, faster and more involving than baseball. If you miss one move, you miss the game.

What is the best Fastpitch Softball bat to use in cold weather?
I have a Rocketech (33 inch) and an Easton Stealth (32inch) but dont want to dent/crack the Stealth and feel the Rocketech is not the right bat for HS. I have been using it for ball and think it may swing too heavy for HS.
I'm curious as to what bats are used up north.
Either or.
The stealth WONT dent because its composite and neither will the rockettech.
The danger of using a composite bat in cold weather is cracking it.
But being honest here, the bats are made well and wont crack.
Ive used bats in 32 degree weather and my bats still hit nicely.
Dont worry and For the size thing
I use a 33/22 as my main bat. Last year on my team most of the players also had 33/22 and a few had 33/23.

Before 1969 bat manufacturing was a pretty straight forward affair. That all changed when Easton released the first aluminum bat, a radical change in technology that launched the little known company into the limelight. Since then Easton has continued to innovate, with each item in their complete line of fastpitch softball bats, gloves and bags reflecting the careful consideration they give to functionality and technology.
