Is the 08 Easton Synergy extended slowpitch softball bat the same as the 05 Synergy?
I have broken 2, 08 Synergy extended didn't feel no way like the 05 model ( red/silver ). Called easton and had it replaced wonder if anyone else have had problems with this bat.
I recently used the 08 model and it felt pretty good to me. I never used an 05 model so I can't help you compare,sorry

Synergy softball bat?
hey everyone,
i really need a new bat and the Easton Synergy is my favorite. I've tried out my friends and i'm hooked. Except since my dad thinks that my bat is perfectly fine (which it's not because it's 2in too small) he won't chip into buying me a new one. I need help finding one for $100-$150. It'd be great if someone could help me because my parent's aren't chipping in a thing! If you could also check and see if it runs in size 31. I've tried ebay, but my parent's said that i cannot participate in the auctions. PLEASE HELP!! thanks so much, if someone does help i will give them the best answer. ONLY FASTPITCH! slow pitch is for oldmen! hehe, just kidding. THANKS!

Do you really have to pay over $200 for a good softball bat?!?
My husband plays slowpitch softball year round. We bought him an Easton bat (can't remember which one) for about $90, I think, on eBay and it broke recently. He was looking at the new miken recoil bat which is ridiculously priced at $330 on Sports Authority's website. An umpire at the ballpark was selling on for $250 last night. I just can't justify paying $250 for a bat for slowpitch old man softball, lol! (My husband is only 25 for the record.) So my question is can you get a good bat for less than $200 (but preferably less than $100)?
go buy a carving knife.... find a nice thick solid branch... and carve your own bat...... that way you can make a custom grip weight... and look hehe....also pricless simply because theres only 1 in the world like it.. and you can paint some crazy name on it like..... the almighty kukamonga

Has anyone tried Easton Power Slot Batting Gloves? Do they actually work and do all that they say?
I am just starting to play slow pitch softball and I heard these gloves will correct the way you hold the bat because of that sponge bar they have across the palm. It is recommended by numerous pro-coaches including the batting coach for the Toronto Bluejays. The gloves claim to "improve your hitting instantly, by increasing your hand/wrist strength, bat speed, power and control. Insure that you hold the bat in the strongest part of your hands --- in the BOTTOM 3 FINGERS!" but I wanna know if it actually works, but people have tried it. Thank you in Advance!

ya, I own them. I actually didnt even realize how much they corrected your grip until a while after i bought them.They did improve my power and bat speed but not a WHOLE LOT but you can see the difference. If you get them you'll just have to get used to using them beacuse of the pad.

Does anyone know if the Easton Reflex C-core bats ever came with a -3 specification? I have seen -5 only.?
Easton made a bat called the Z-core several years ago...there were -5s and -8s...but i think that was before the rule changes only allowed the use of -3s in college and high school...after the rule change i think easton changed the model name to something else

In your opinion, which SOFTBALL bat is the better buy? (10pts!)?

umm.. i like the 2nd one the best.
i guess it depends on how heavy u want it
but all of those have cool style, & r made of the same stuff
but none of them will make hitting "easier"
only the weight will make it easier, i mean like if ur a smaller person then go for a lighter bat & get a better hit. its the opposite if ur a bigger person.
